Video series have become an important fall content initiative for many resort brands. This week I’m highlighting three that have either started dropping or will drop soon for the upcoming 2014/15 ski season with a few thoughts on each.

It takes about five seconds to see the Sherpas Cinema name in the opening sequence to realize that Banff/Lake-Louise/Sunshine aren’t messing around.

This four-part series follows a similar vein as the other two I’ve talked about this week in the way they indirectly tell the story about the mountain by telling stories about people who love the mountain.

They’re calling the series, Sculpted in Time.

Coming in a Few Days
The first episode titled “The Wise Man” drops on Monday, but the trailer is already out.

There was a bit more big-mountain skiing than I expected from a resort-produced film, but knowing Sherpas these are not films you’ll want to miss.

Can’t wait for Monday to see how this series starts off.
