Since Monday, a handful of resorts in the west saw their first snowfall of the season. Pretty darn exciting if you ask me or any one skiers/boarders that got to see the snow first hand or pictures of it online.

A few resorts let people know about it, and they got a lot of attention. Retweets, FB shares, etc., all from a simple picture or two they posted to their social media outlets. Here are a few of the pics and folks who got the attention:
