Social media…man…what a journey.
On a personal level, I’m using less and less social media every month. The only social app on my phone is Twitter, and even then notifications are turned off and I usually leave my phone plugged in 24/7. I haven’t seen my Facebook feed in ages.
Yet for work, it comes in really handy. Not every campaign and not for every message, but when you combine custom audiences and free reach and retargeting it’s tough to ignore.
Where are you at?
My main reason for writing today is to kick off a fairly major resort social media marketing survey. I’ve heard so many different opinions about where resorts are at with different networks, what’s on their radar, and what isn’t, I knew it was time to ask.
So I am:
I’m gonna stop here so you have time to fill out the survey, but as always I just want to say “thank you” in advance for taking the time to share you insights.
About Gregg & SlopeFillers
I've had more first-time visitors lately, so adding a quick "about" section. I started SlopeFillers in 2010
with the simple goal of sharing great resort marketing strategies. Today I run marketing for resort ecommerce and CRM provider
Inntopia,
my home mountain is the lovely Nordic Valley,
and my favorite marketing campaign remains the Ski Utah TV show that sold me on skiing as a kid in the 90s.
