BLANCHARD

After releasing the newest version of the dashboards last month, I immediately started to hear the same thing, “we love it, but what happened to the rankings?” I didn’t have time to add them then, I had already spent my evenings getting that version up, but recently had a few minutes to make that, and a few other updates to the social dashboards. Here’s the details.

(To access your resort’s dashboard, type your resort’s into the box above this article, choose your resort from the list, and click “GO”)

Rankings & Color
The first, thing, like i mentioned, are the rankings. Right now most metrics have rankings. Those that don’t will soon be added as I smooth out some kinks. Rankings will appear before today’s numbers for each metric as shown below:

The rankings are color coded based on what you ranking was 7 days ago. If it is green, it means that you are moving up. If it is red, obviously, you’re dropping in the rankings. I’ve delayed it by 7 days so, in case you don’t check your ranking every day, you can still see that your ranking has moved.

Full Ranking Lists
If you click on any ranking you’ll get the full list for that ranking. So, if you click on #167 for Squaw Valley’s national Tweet ranking, you’ll see this:

It will also jump you down to your position and highlight it for quick reference.

Klout Scores
I’ve finally added Klout scores to the dashboards as well. They are listed under the Twitter scores for now. Works just like any other metric.

Stay thirsty my friends.

About Gregg & SlopeFillers
I've had more first-time visitors lately, so adding a quick "about" section. I started SlopeFillers in 2010 with the simple goal of sharing great resort marketing strategies. Today I run marketing for resort ecommerce and CRM provider Inntopia, my home mountain is the lovely Nordic Valley, and my favorite marketing campaign remains the Ski Utah TV show that sold me on skiing as a kid in the 90s.
