When I published the survey last week, there was a little takeaway that I didn’t give a lot of time to. It was one from this chart.
The question I’ve started to ask lately is this:
“What are those ‘other messages’ that are going out?”
Well, I’ve been collecting my favorites. And as I struggle a bit to get back into the groove of writing and sharing, I’m going to share are a few of those to spark some ideas.
For the Kiddos
New mother Abbey Way did a live storytime on the Seven Springs Facebook page. Simple, fun, relevant, and useful for some skier-parents who needed 10 minutes of quiet time. Camp Fortune’s coloring pages were another awesome example of this.

A Little Appreciation
Just spreading some positivity and gratitude is a great thing to do any day, but especially these days. Love this.
THANK YOU to all frontline and essential service workers! We are grateful for everything that you are doing to keep our families, friends and communities safe. We will continue to do our part and #stayhome pic.twitter.com/5kOiEOFXEV

It's #NationalDoctorAppreciationDay and we want to thank our Doctors, Nurses and Front Line staff more than ever! Help us celebrate at 7:30pm, go outside and put those cowbells to good use. Goggles for Docs
This initiative has been really fulfilling to be involved in, and it’s a perfect message for resorts to push out right now.
Help GogglesForDocs get used or new ski goggles into the hands of healthcare workers who currently have no eye protection as they treat COVID-19 patients. Donate your goggles at this container at the North Creek Ski Bowl pavilion. Instructions at https://t.co/VDbo7Paaua pic.twitter.com/fFFZ5jxevf

Extra goggles kicking around making you feel bad about the early ending to the season (globally)? Turn that frown upside down and send them in to help our faithful teams of healthcare workers stay safe! https://t.co/vfSd7Pk52M

Taking the lead from a big Jay Peak supporter who introduced us to this initiative. We'll be sending 50 pairs of goggles to NY hospitals, to start. Sharing because we know the Jay Peak community & partners will support this in any way they can. https://t.co/1EbHBlxwVL pic.twitter.com/Ov0QdpCG8H

Sun Peaks Series
Still got an episode or two to go in your season’s series? Might be a great time to drop them and give your audience a little distractions like Sun Peaks is doing.
Even though the season has ended, we still want to share the final episode in our People Behind the Pow series. Introducing “Park Mom” Abby, who works long days with her crew to keep things fun and safe for all you Terrain Park shredders out there.

About Gregg & SlopeFillers
I've had more first-time visitors lately, so adding a quick "about" section. I started SlopeFillers in 2010
with the simple goal of sharing great resort marketing strategies. Today I run marketing for resort ecommerce and CRM provider

my home mountain is the lovely Nordic Valley,
