With the latest episode now live, Mount Bohemia TV is still my favorite marketing of the year.

I’m going make an attempt at brevity because these episodes are fairly long, but I do want to get all y’all up to speed on the marketing phenomenon that is Mount Bohemia TV.

When I first wrote about these videos back in April, I said:

“When you do you’re almost sure to find a refreshing dose of honesty, a ski area that completely embraces their quirks, and some honestly good skiing that, if you’re anything like me, makes you insanely intrigued to try this place in real life.

Maybe I’m just worn out on typical marketing, maybe I was just in the right mood, but watching these videos was more fun and had a bigger influence on my desire to visit somewhere than any piece of resort marketing I’ve seen in years.”

The series checked three boxes that have been at the core of marketing concepts and trends over the last five or so years. Namely:

  • Embracing who you are.
  • Breaking through the noise with non-vanilla marketing.
  • Being authentic and real and honest.

This series has done this in a way no other marketing has and I absolutely love it.

Hints had been dropped about a 4th episode, and as of last week it is now live. Take a look:

Without skipping a beat, the latest installment continues the quirky nature of the previous three with the classic awkward encounters, unique characters, and, yes, solid skiing.

Take a few minutes, sit back, and enjoy.

About Gregg & SlopeFillers
I've had more first-time visitors lately, so adding a quick "about" section. I started SlopeFillers in 2010 with the simple goal of sharing great resort marketing strategies. Today I run marketing for resort ecommerce and CRM provider Inntopia, my home mountain is the lovely Nordic Valley, and my favorite marketing campaign remains the Ski Utah TV show that sold me on skiing as a kid in the 90s.
