Video series have become an important fall content initiative for many resort brands. This week I’m highlighting three that have either started dropping or will drop soon for the upcoming 2014/15 ski season with a few thoughts on each.
After an impressive effort in Our Story last year, Aspen is back at the series game again with Mind Body Spirit.
The three part series features fairly well-known names of Gretchen Bleiler, Torin Yater-Wallace, and Walter Isaacson as the characters for these narratives, and it’s set to launch the first week of October.
The Trailer
The trailer dropped last week and uses some really impressive cinemetography to combine both on and off-mountain selling points.
Combined with a really impressive landing page to house the brand and series…
…this is one I’m definitely keeping an eye on.
By my count on Vimeo, this year’s trailer has already been viewed more than last year’s which doesn’t even account for a version that was uploaded directly to Facebook and has been shared nearly 600 times.
Now, if Facebook would just hurry up a release their view counter…
