Inspiration
Timberline put a favorite resort feature into a clever, comfy package.

Just a quick one today, but a good one.

I’ve always been intrigued by the love folks have for favorite runs, lifts, and aspects of their favorite mountain. For me, that’s Cotton Mouth at Sundance. It was there during after a 12″ storm that I finally figured out riding powder and my life changed forever.

Raven at Nordic Valley is another. Kinda hidden in plain sight near the bottom of the mountain and a natural shape that fits my style, it’s my go to almost every day of the season.

Not Alone
I’m not alone, of course, in my list of favorites. And neither are the folks who ski at Timberline, West Virginia (now run by the Perfect North Slopes gang).

So I had to tip my cap to them when, with the help of their agency, Epop Studios, they decided to give skiers a way to showcase these favorite runs everywhere they went. Just choose your favorites, add them to your cart, and for $20 you’ve got an awesome way to share your stoke.

It’s a really clever idea and really well done.

Timing
Signage has long been a thing you could buy, but I love putting signage on a t-shirt because it’s both cheaper and easier to share with the world.

And with direct-to-garment printing becoming more and more commonplace (and higher quality) the technology has aligned to make this a reality as well.

Great stuff.

About Gregg & SlopeFillers
I've had more first-time visitors lately, so adding a quick "about" section. I started SlopeFillers in 2010 with the simple goal of sharing great resort marketing strategies. Today I run marketing for resort ecommerce and CRM provider Inntopia, my home mountain is the lovely Nordic Valley, and my favorite marketing campaign remains the Ski Utah TV show that sold me on skiing as a kid in the 90s.
