Our sport is amazing.

The feeling, the views, the combination of both as we explore nature in ways that is only possible once the rocky ground becomes smooth under a blanker of snow.

But as beautiful as it is, that moment can be hard to capture. So when I see moments that capture it for me, I think it’s important to highlight them.

This video from Sun Valley is absolutely one of those.

I love it because the lines are so representative of that moment when you look back up a hill (or down from the lift) and see the visible proof of the turns you enjoyed.

I love it because the angle combines both that and the scenic vistas we enjoy in a single shot.

But most of all, I love it because it’s simple. It’s beautiful, elegant skiing with a little bit of sound and…nothing else.
