Alta’s new video is a perfect example of great resort storytelling.

Last week’s video about Snowbird’s Different Breed campaign worked well enough, so let’s give it another go.

This time I’ll dig into Alta’s new film The Soul of Alta. Storytelling can be a somewhat overused term, but what I’m going to try to do in this video is break it down in a simple series of concepts (at least the way I think about it), explore examples of each one, and give you something to keep an eye out for as you watch Alta’s story to help us see how those elements are used and what they do the experience of watching it.

So, let’s start with my breakdown.
