Snowbird’s Clever Summer Online “Play on Words” Campaign

I first saw Snowbird’s 2010 summer campaign on a billboard in central Utah. Instantly, I loved it. It was a simple concept but got their point across extremely clearly in more ways than one. Playing on phrases and names like chat rooms, downloads, uploads, etc., Snowbird found a perfect way to get their point across quickly while maintaining the sticky factor at the same time.

A few of the lines, while showing pictures of summer activies or wide open spaces on hikes were:

  • Plenty of Chat Room
  • Light Fast Downloads
  • Unplug. Reconnect.
  • Upload to 11,500′

About Gregg & SlopeFillers
I've had more first-time visitors lately, so adding a quick "about" section. I started SlopeFillers in 2010 with the simple goal of sharing great resort marketing strategies. Today I run marketing for resort ecommerce and CRM provider Inntopia, my home mountain is the lovely Nordic Valley, and my favorite marketing campaign remains the Ski Utah TV show that sold me on skiing as a kid in the 90s.
