To wrap up a week with a few posts about video, I thought I’d cap things off with a quick example of video that is unique, entertaining, but also beautiful to watch and incredibly well made.   About 5 months ago, Whistler Blackcomb put out their version which they called “Whistler Blackcomb XXS”.  A couple months later, Tristan Greszko released his version (no budget or reimbursement, purely a labor of love) of Jackson Hole which he named, “A Tiny Day in the Jackson Hole Backcountry.”

Using tilt shift, apparently done in post (at least for Tristan’s version), the filmmakers then sped up the footage to make each resort feel like a miniature scene.  Combined, these two videos have over 400,000k views.  Not too bad.

About Gregg & SlopeFillers
I've had more first-time visitors lately, so adding a quick "about" section. I started SlopeFillers in 2010 with the simple goal of sharing great resort marketing strategies. Today I run marketing for resort ecommerce and CRM provider Inntopia, my home mountain is the lovely Nordic Valley, and my favorite marketing campaign remains the Ski Utah TV show that sold me on skiing as a kid in the 90s.
