I originally planned an debating the efficacy of taglines but I think I’ll take a pass. They are what they are. So, as you check your knowledge and the stickiness of resort tag lines, I’ll let you draw your own conclusions about whether they add any real value to a brand. Enjoy :)

Name that ski resort based on their tag line:

“A better way to mountain.” (Canyons)

“Like nothing on earth.” (Vail)

“The Beast” (Killington)

“Everyone deserves a snow day.” (Copper Mountain)

“Colorado’s favorite.” (Winter Park)

“Rare Earth” (Kirkwood)

“It’s the snow.” (Big White)

“The Legend” (Arapahoe Basin)

“Ski it if you can!” (Mad River Glen)

“Not exactly roughing it.” (Beaver Creek)

“Refined by nature.” (Solitude)

“The top of California.” (Mammoth)

“Find your happy place.” (Sundar River)

“Pure Vertical Fun” (Wildcat)

“Unmatched in North America” (Telluride)

“What are you up for?” (Boyne)

“The only thing missing here is you.” (Durango)

“It’s your turn.” (Sugarbowl)

“The rockies biggest, Canada’s best.” (Lake Louise)

About Gregg & SlopeFillers
I've had more first-time visitors lately, so adding a quick "about" section. I started SlopeFillers in 2010 with the simple goal of sharing great resort marketing strategies. Today I run marketing for resort ecommerce and CRM provider Inntopia, my home mountain is the lovely Nordic Valley, and my favorite marketing campaign remains the Ski Utah TV show that sold me on skiing as a kid in the 90s.
