SEO can a sensitive subject to some resorts who have been burned by a shoddy agency. Other times this buzz-acronym strikes fear into the hearts of those who have never tested its waters yet are falling behind to those who have. In either case, there are many misconceptions about SEO, or rather, there are many lack-of-conceptions. Most people simply don’t know what it takes to rank well, especially when it comes to link building. SEOMoz produced these two graphics to both illustrate what you should do as well as ideas for what you should be doing.
For resorts especially, I think you’ll find you’re doing many of the things in the second graph already. When you tie them into a focused SEO strategy, good things happen.
