As we approach the end of yet another ski season, I wanted to proactively share season recaps from last season to share this inspire ideas for this year’s. I think these videos are not just a fun bit of content, but a simple way to do three things.
#1) Stay Relevant During Shoulder Season
They’re ready to move on, but content like this can keep your name on your guests’ brains even though the lifts aren’t spinning and summer activities are a few months away..
#2) Remember Their Own
In a small way I think they also can serve as a template for folks to mentally remember their own winters; tracing the highlights of their individual seasons.
#3) Only the Good
No season is perfect, but that doesn’t mean we have to remember the rainy days and ice. Videos like this reinforce the positive memories of skiing and the things we can use to mentally look forward to next season.
Here are a few of my favorites with a hat tip to Vail Resorts for some of the best of the bunch.

About Gregg & SlopeFillers
I've had more first-time visitors lately, so adding a quick "about" section. I started SlopeFillers in 2010
with the simple goal of sharing great resort marketing strategies. Today I run marketing for resort ecommerce and CRM provider
Inntopia,
my home mountain is the lovely Nordic Valley,
and my favorite marketing campaign remains the Ski Utah TV show that sold me on skiing as a kid in the 90s.
