App Platform Name:
Resorts Tapped

Description:
“Resorts Tapped is a Jackson Hole, Wyoming based resort software development company. Our aim is to connect the resort guest to their resort via dynamic and engaging mobile technology.

In 2008 we developed the first ever resort specific iPhone app, JH Tapped for Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. JH Tapped gained world wide attention in the snow sports industry and spawned a new genre of resort to guest communication- the resort app. As resorts scramble to understand this new space, Resorts Tapped continues to lead the way with advanced features that provide real utility to the end-user and a direct connection to the resort. Our staff are dedicated snow junkies who ride and ski everyday to constantly refine our app features through on-snow testing and lift-line discussions.”

Why They’re Different:
“In 2010 ESPN named Resorts Tapped, “Resort App King” in an article showcasing resort mobile technology http://xgam.es/1cWNTMk. Our RPS technology encourages multiple use by engaging the resort guest and providing them with fun and useful features. We put GPS on the trail map and overlay runs skied/snowboarded on the trail map. Runs can be replayed and stored in the Cloud! Tap to see grooming overlaid on Trail Map. Our Lift Status, Temperature, Webcams, and Snow Reports are live. We provide Winter and Summer versions of our apps for resorts to promote summer activities. Village Maps are linked to contact lists. Our apps work!”

About Gregg & SlopeFillers
I've had more first-time visitors lately, so adding a quick "about" section. I started SlopeFillers in 2010 with the simple goal of sharing great resort marketing strategies. Today I run marketing for resort ecommerce and CRM provider Inntopia, my home mountain is the lovely Nordic Valley, and my favorite marketing campaign remains the Ski Utah TV show that sold me on skiing as a kid in the 90s.
