It’s a well made video with a quirky, but fun actor. Red Mountain’s idea is pretty simple: show how good it is here by making fun of the opposite. I think we’ve all seen a handful of snow reports and marketing materials that, when describing new snow and powder skiing, use references that leave you wondering if they are talking about the slopes or the bedroom.
With Red Mountain’s choice of words, there’s no mistaking it. The intended audience is clear (no appealing to families here) but based on 55,000 views (almost half of all video views for their channel) and 111 likes, the response from the skiers has been positive.

About Gregg & SlopeFillers
I've had more first-time visitors lately, so adding a quick "about" section. I started SlopeFillers in 2010
with the simple goal of sharing great resort marketing strategies. Today I run marketing for resort ecommerce and CRM provider
Inntopia,
my home mountain is the lovely Nordic Valley,
and my favorite marketing campaign remains the Ski Utah TV show that sold me on skiing as a kid in the 90s.
