Video has been a recent topic and with a bunch of ideas simmer on that very thing, I thought I’d start this thread again with simple examples of videos that do some sort of promotion yet do it in an indirect, fun, simple, or witty way.

Killington Early Snowmaking
Views: 5,000
After an awesome early-opening weekend made possible by a dedicated snowmaking crew, Killington released this short video to explain how they did it. Absolutely love this.

Squaw Valley: Trust Your Instincts

A David Attenborough-like video to document the hardcore locals getting ready for winter.

Snowshoe Mountain Announces New Gladed Terrain
Views: 1,900
You could announce glades, or you could write a witty script to do the same with that makes it somewhat fun to listen to.

Copper Mountain Four Pack, Season Pass, etc.
I’ll wrap up with these. Not only are they clever and chuckle-causing, they actually do an awesome job of selling some key points of skiing at Copper. Here are a couple of my favorites.

About Gregg & SlopeFillers
I've had more first-time visitors lately, so adding a quick "about" section. I started SlopeFillers in 2010 with the simple goal of sharing great resort marketing strategies. Today I run marketing for resort ecommerce and CRM provider Inntopia, my home mountain is the lovely Nordic Valley, and my favorite marketing campaign remains the Ski Utah TV show that sold me on skiing as a kid in the 90s.
