Moonlight Basin’s Simple Instagram Strategy Tells a Visual Story of Resort

I’ve often said that Instagram is a simple way to magnify your social media reach with virtually no extra effort. In fact, depending on your current photo-posting methods, it may even save you time while simultaneously earning that extra reach.

Lately, I’ve really enjoyed Moonlight Basin’s Ingagram feed. They are simple, well framed photos that tell the story of the resort without getting in the way. Here are their last 10 photos (at least, at the time I put this post together).

As you scroll down through this list, consider how much time it took them to take and share each photo. In my mind, Instagram is a smart balance between keeping a social media presence current with real time content and not spending more time on that task than your marketing goals may justify.

So, well framed and chosen visuals that focus on selling points of the resort and experience without getting to “in yo’ face” about it while taking no more than a few minutes a day to capture and share. I like it.

About Gregg & SlopeFillers
I've had more first-time visitors lately, so adding a quick "about" section. I started SlopeFillers in 2010 with the simple goal of sharing great resort marketing strategies. Today I run marketing for resort ecommerce and CRM provider Inntopia, my home mountain is the lovely Nordic Valley, and my favorite marketing campaign remains the Ski Utah TV show that sold me on skiing as a kid in the 90s.
