This beautifully simple tweet from Bretton Woods could be an entire marketing campaign.
It’s the day after Christmas. You’re busy or disinterested (or both), so I’ll keep it short.
I want to highlight a tweet from Bretton Woods that is powerful simple and full of marketing potential. Here it is:
It was a pleasure and an honor helping @KevinFaircloth1 get on skis for his first time yesterday! Come back and visit again soon! pic.twitter.com/8OZHNTlFgK

It’s so simple.
- They had someone come through their ski school with a story.
- They took a moment to listen and hear that story.
- They wrote that story down.
- They took a couple pictures to go with it.
- And they shared it.
The result is a simple, fun account of someone who you’d never expect to be interested in learning to ski doing that very thing.
In other words, one of oh, I dunno, a couple hundred million people we need to pay more attention to our industry.
Everyone on your mountain has a story. A good story. Some have stories even better than Kevin’s. Sometimes all it takes is giving those people a chance to talk and a good pair of ears to listen.
