A couple Colorado resorts stole the show during a slow summer month for Twitter follow growth. No new names on the top 25, but Loveland and Alpine are lurking just below #25 Arizona Snow Bowl. Wouldn’t be surprised to see some changes down there next month. Here’s all the changes to the June update of the Top 25 Ski Resorts on Twitter list.

Noteable
These numbers are for the Top 25 resorts:

  • Average growth (%): 2.80%
  • Average growth (#): 180.0 followers
  • Total followers gained: 4,499
  • Fastest growth: Snowbird (6.39%), Whistler / Blackcomb (5.85%)
  • Slowest growth: Arizona Snow Bowl (0.62%)

Movers

  • Winter Park (+2)
  • Copper Mountain (+1)
  • The Canyons (-1)
  • Killington (-1)
  • Arapahoe Basin (-1)

Klout
Klout is changing their system up and the old way i used to check Klout isn’t drawing data any more. Even once you create an account, data for most ski resorts hasn’t been compiled yet. If things aren’t working next month, I’ll likely drop these numbers from the list.

About Gregg & SlopeFillers
I've had more first-time visitors lately, so adding a quick "about" section. I started SlopeFillers in 2010 with the simple goal of sharing great resort marketing strategies. Today I run marketing for resort ecommerce and CRM provider Inntopia, my home mountain is the lovely Nordic Valley, and my favorite marketing campaign remains the Ski Utah TV show that sold me on skiing as a kid in the 90s.
