Ah yes, it’s that time of the month for the Twitter Top 25 update. This month, I’ve sacked the old “follower : following” ratio to make way for Klout Scores. Five resorts climbed the charts, four fell, and when ranked by Klout, the list takes an interesting twist.

Movers

  • Sugarloaf (+2)
  • Snowbird (+1)
  • Beaver Creek (+1)
  • Copper Mountain (+1)
  • Alpine Meadows (+1)
  • The Canyons (-1)
  • Arapahoe Basin (-1)
  • Loveland (-1)
  • Arizona Snow Bowl (-2)

Shakers

  • Whistler/Blackcomb gained nearly 1,400 followers last month, passing the 12,000 mark a week ago.
  • Breckenridge and Keystone gained 782 and 659 followers respectively. More than a 10% gain for each of them.
  • Alpine Meadows jumped back on the list after a few-month absence.

Klout Top 10
Note that @pcski, @beavercreekmtn, and @thecanyons who are in the follower-ranked top 10 don’t make the cut when ranked by Klout.

      About Gregg & SlopeFillers
I've had more first-time visitors lately, so adding a quick "about" section. I started SlopeFillers in 2010 with the simple goal of sharing great resort marketing strategies. Today I run marketing for resort ecommerce and CRM provider Inntopia, my home mountain is the lovely Nordic Valley, and my favorite marketing campaign remains the Ski Utah TV show that sold me on skiing as a kid in the 90s.
