The Unglamorous Offers That Create Gorgeous Revenues

Yesterday I wrote about free skiing. As far as offers go, that’s about as attractive as they come. The word “free” sits beautifully on an advertisement and quickly draws eyes.

Sometimes offers that really are incredible deals get overlooked because they aren’t free, they are $125, $150, $200 a night. When compared to their alternatives, however, they look great. These are the ski-and-stay offers that are an important part of many resorts’ revenues. If I wanted to generate loads of traffic to my site, I wouldn’t post about these packages. However, it’s always nice to get a few ideas and some inspiration from what other resorts are offering.

The BC Tourism folks are pushing hard to keep the post-Olympic, winter sports momentum going by offering 13 ski-and-stay deals at 13 of their nicest resorts. More than a dozen ideas for some pretty attractive ski vacation packages:
