Seven Ski Resort Marketing Tweeps You Should be Following

Gregg Blanchard   /

Friday Follow is a great unofficial tradition that I’ve always enjoyed on Twitter. While it’s an awesome way to show some love to the folks whose tweets rock, it sometimes seems those lists of @whoevers get lost in the sea of status updates posted each day. So, I thought I’d give some love to the ski resort marketing guys and gals who get my attention on Twitter.

Keep in mind, these aren’t all official marketing accounts, there are a few personal accounts as well. So, while you may glean a mother-lode of marketing gems, they may be mixed in with their kids’ soccer game scores, showing off new cars, travelogues, and bragging about how many feet of vertical they’re racking up. Just a heads up.

Eric Hoffman (@eric_hoffman)
Park City Mountain Resort
Was active in weekly #mrktchat’s last season and always has great insights.

Evan Reece (@EvanReece)
Liftopia
Evan is the co-founder of Liftopia and really puts out some cool stats on what their doing.

Joe Johnson (@johnsonjoe)
Canyons Resort
Social-media coordinator at Canyon Resort, I love Joe’s passion for (and knowledge of) the field.

Dave Amirault (@ozskier)
Aspen/Snowmass
Dave makes some mean content for Aspen/Snowmass, but it’s backed by a ton of marketing intelligence.

Milena Regos (@milenaregos)
Was w/ Diamond Peak
No longer at a resort, but still sharing great stuff and bring up interesting topics.

SAM Magazine (@saminfo)
Official Account (was w/ Keystone)
Always surprises me how much of the news they push is marketing related.

Troy Hawks (@NSAA_Journal)
Communications Manager for NSAA
As an official organization account, Troy’s posts are pretty much always on topic and super interesting.

Never miss a weekly post.
