I’ve often felt that trying to keep up with everything going on in the social media sphere feels like a full time job. One week it’s Pinterest, the next it’s Facebook Timeline, then Path has a redesign and YouTube changes their layout. It’s for this very reason I’ve spent so much time on social media with SlopeFillers posts and worked to create the resort social dashboards that are now used dozens of resorts on almost a daily basis.
All this info is great for the social media manager, but what about the rest of the resort? The guys and gals that aren’t on the frontlines of social media but have a vested interest in trends and resort performance? It’s for that reason I’ve created something I’m calling Social7.
Social Insights for Resort Professionals
Social7, to put it simply, is a once every 7-days email digest of what is happening in the social media world as it specifically pertains to the ski industry and ski resorts. The emails are free and everything is optimized for mobile so social media monitoring can take only a few minutes a week wherever you might be. It contains three parts:

The email starts with just a quick, one paragraph update of major social media trends and news that have happened during the last week.
Reading List
Next, I provide two, quick articles to read for more information on this major trends and updates. Nothing long winded, I try to find nothing but short, concise articles.
Basic Performance Data
Finally, the email includes basic social performance (new fans, basic engagement, new followers, etc.) for both your resort and two other resorts you’d like to keep an eye on and compare your numbers too.
Just choose the day you want the email to arrive and two other resorts and this update will be sitting in your inbox when you get up that morning.
Easy-to-Edit Account
If you ever want to change the day your email arrives or which resorts are included in the performance report, simply log into your account from your computer or mobile browser and make any changes you need.
