After a short spell on top, Mammoth Mountain drops to #2 as Whistler regains the top spot, the threshold for inclusion nears 10,000, and lots of changes near the bottom headline the December edition of the Top 25 Ski Resorts on Facebook list.

Notable Changes:

• While they didn’t make the top 25 list (#29), Copper Mountain went from 6,814 fans to 9,432 fans last month, 38.4% growth.
• The same can be said for Smugglers Notch who went from 6,254 to 8,624, 37.90% growth.
• Combined, the top 25 resorts gained 59,472 fans.
• Combined, the top 5 resorts gained 29,345 fans.
• Bolstered by 18% growth, Squaw Valley is on the list at #23.
• The average growth for a top 25 resort was 11.91%

The 15% Growth Club (so many resorts hit 10%, I figured I need to keep this somewhat elite):

• Northstar-at-Tahoe (20.57%)
• Breckenridge (19.66%)
• Squaw Valley (18.85%)
• Snowshoe (17.90%)
• Mountain Creek (17.53%)
• Whistler Blackcomb (17.28%)
• Vail (15.25%)
