Somewhere between the AllSpark and over-the-top CG effects I lost interest in “Transformers”. Somewhere between Syracuse and Chittenango, NY, at Four Seasons Golf & Ski, I got it back. Forget turning into a sports car or Apache helicopter, this quaint little ski area pulls double duty as a driving range, transforming back and forth as quickly as the snow flies and without all the weird techno-widget sound effects in between.

The photo above is of that hill, my golf bag framing all of its 75′ vertical feet of majesty.

Now, I hate to think of the ski season ending, but soon that day will come if it hasn’t already. As summer approaches, I want to know and share all the ways resorts transform their slopes from winter wonderlands into summer hotspots:

  • Disc golf
  • Mountain biking
  • Concerts
  • Hking
  • Scenic lift rides

Are some of the more common ones. How do you make the most of your snow-less slopes? What fun events do you hold and unique activities do you offer? Let me know in the comments section below of shoot me an email.

About Gregg & SlopeFillers
I've had more first-time visitors lately, so adding a quick "about" section. I started SlopeFillers in 2010 with the simple goal of sharing great resort marketing strategies. Today I run marketing for resort ecommerce and CRM provider Inntopia, my home mountain is the lovely Nordic Valley, and my favorite marketing campaign remains the Ski Utah TV show that sold me on skiing as a kid in the 90s.
