Twitter Top 25 Update – Jan 2011
January 3rd, 2011The first post of 2011 also marks the first Twitter Top 25 list update of 2011. Whistler holds on to the #1 spot by their usual, large gap while Breckenridge breaks into the top 3 and Grouse Mountain sneaks up to #10. Here are the full details:

Shakers
- Grouse Mountain continues to impress, hanging (and in this case) passing big name resorts like The Canyons, Killington, and Beaver Creek
- While I am still waiting for a few months of data to draw major conclusions, Sugarloaf’s Klout score went from 49 to 56 during the last month, the biggest just of any top 25 resort.
- Telluride started at #30 six months ago and snuck onto the list this month for the first time.

SlopeFillers is run by marketer and skier / snowboarder, 
Klout is awesome and is working for a lot of resorts, but at the moment they are having some serious bugs that are causing scores to drop and do crazy things.
Like our true reach dropped from 1123 to 55 in 1 day and remains frozen. As did our Unique @senders… Klout is aware of the issue, but at the moment, I’m guessing if our scores our frozen, there may be others as well.
Rachel, very good to know. Thanks for the heads up. I'll keep an eye on that, hope they get those bugs worked out soon.
