The season is winding down, but it looks like someone forgot to tell Twitter users that was the case as follower counts grew faster than they did during the prior month. Whistler/Blackcomb remains top of the list, but Mammoth Mountain jumps two spots, leapfrogging both Keystone and Park City, to nab the #3 position on the Top 25 Ski Resorts on Twitter list. Here’s the full details:

Noteworthy

  • Whistler/Blackcomb is #1 and doesn’t look like they’ll give up that spot anytime soon after 9.02% growth during the last month, the most of any resort on the list.
  • Snowbird had the second fastest growth with 8.45%.
  • The average growth for a top 25 Twitter ski resort was 5.12%
  • In all, the top 25 resorts gained 7,252 followers an average of 290.1 per account
  • Combined, the top 25 resorts have a total of 142,133 followers

All the Changes

  • Mammoth Mountain (+2)
  • Snowbird (+1)
  • Heavenly (+1)
  • Telluride (+1)
  • Keystone (-1)
  • Park City (-1)
  • Stowe (-1)
  • Arapahoe Basin (-1)
  • Arizona Snow Bowl (-1)

About Gregg & SlopeFillers
I've had more first-time visitors lately, so adding a quick "about" section. I started SlopeFillers in 2010 with the simple goal of sharing great resort marketing strategies. Today I run marketing for resort ecommerce and CRM provider Inntopia, my home mountain is the lovely Nordic Valley, and my favorite marketing campaign remains the Ski Utah TV show that sold me on skiing as a kid in the 90s.
