1) The Science of Social Timing
Teaming up with social media scientist Dan Zarrella, KissMetrics created this brief but wheel-turning illustration of the science of social timing on not just Twitter (as I covered earlier) but also Facebook. Lots of simple takeaways like weekend and every-other-day posting that I think are key to resorts working with fans that, for the most part, will fall within a certain geographic area.

2) How Airlines Allocate Resources to Social Media
I first saw this over on the blog of Eric Hoffman (of Park City fame) and thought the comparisons they drew between reach, spending, team size, etc. were incredibly interesting. Maybe not the same short-term takeaways as the first, but give you some long term, social media team stuff to consider.

3) Feeding the Funnel with Facebook
When it comes to making money from your social media presence(s) it’s nice to have a visual idea of where that traffic and interaction fit into the overall pictures. That is what Get Satisfaction has done with this infographic. More words that usual, but worth the time to read all the text.

About Gregg & SlopeFillers
I've had more first-time visitors lately, so adding a quick "about" section. I started SlopeFillers in 2010 with the simple goal of sharing great resort marketing strategies. Today I run marketing for resort ecommerce and CRM provider Inntopia, my home mountain is the lovely Nordic Valley, and my favorite marketing campaign remains the Ski Utah TV show that sold me on skiing as a kid in the 90s.
