Rankings Return to Resort Social Dashboards, Klout Scores Added
January 27th, 2012
After releasing the newest version of the dashboards last month, I immediately started to hear the same thing, “we love it, but what happened to the rankings?” I didn’t have time to add them then, I had already spent my evenings getting that version up, but recently had a few minutes to make that, and a few other updates to the social dashboards. Here’s the details.
(To access your resort’s dashboard, type your resort’s into the box above this article, choose your resort from the list, and click “GO”)
Rankings & Color
The first, thing, like i mentioned, are the rankings. Right now most metrics have rankings. Those that don’t will soon be added as I smooth out some kinks. Rankings will appear before today’s numbers for each metric as shown below:

The rankings are color coded based on what you ranking was 7 days ago. If it is green, it means that you are moving up. If it is red, obviously, you’re dropping in the rankings. I’ve delayed it by 7 days so, in case you don’t check your ranking every day, you can still see that your ranking has moved.
Full Ranking Lists
If you click on any ranking you’ll get the full list for that ranking. So, if you click on #167 for Squaw Valley’s national Tweet ranking, you’ll see this:

It will also jump you down to your position and highlight it for quick reference.
Klout Scores
I’ve finally added Klout scores to the dashboards as well. They are listed under the Twitter scores for now. Works just like any other metric.

Stay thirsty my friends.

Love it! Thank you thank you
Wow we're #4 for Klout! Nice, I had no idea. I notice you have a wrong link to Mount Washington. It's https://www.facebook.com/MountWashington.ca
I think you also made a mistake with a YouTube link for Snow Valley in Edmonton, Alberta http://www.snowvalley.ca/
You have them down as:
1) Snow Valley Ski Club: Count: – 217,453 http://www.youtube.com/user/Snow_Valley_Ski
But it should be Count: – 5,868 http://www.youtube.com/user/SnowValleySki
or maybe there is another Snow Valley with the same one somewhere else but you have this one in the Alberta region of Canada.
O actually it looks like something is wonky with lots of the YouTube links. Lots of 404's and other weird stuff YouTube is doing.
How do ski resorts add Google+ Bussiness pages to Klout. It's only brings in my personal profile. Suggestions?
Little misunderstanding. Copper Mountain already has a Google+ Page. It seems that Klout hasn’t integrated Google+ Business Pages yet. I'm looking forward to business pages being integrated soon. That's where all our followers are.
