Apparently, marketers at Vail Resorts are drawing straws to see who gets to nab a flock of fans each month. Last month, Vail posted growth of over 11,000 fans (22% increase). This month, Beaver Creek grew by over 9,000, a 61.5% jump. Not sure if they are pushing social media to their email lists, buying ads to promote their pages or something entirely different, but whatever they are doing…it’s working. About Gregg & SlopeFillers
I've had more first-time visitors lately, so adding a quick "about" section. I started SlopeFillers in 2010 with the simple goal of sharing great resort marketing strategies. Today I run marketing for resort ecommerce and CRM provider Inntopia, my home mountain is the lovely Nordic Valley, and my favorite marketing campaign remains the Ski Utah TV show that sold me on skiing as a kid in the 90s.
